SolidWorks Certification Program

SolidWorks offers all users with a valid SolidWorks license to certify themselves in different areas and levels. All available tests can be done over the internet, and sometime during 2008, the following tests will be available:

CSWA - available!
Certified SolidWorks Associate
The junior version of the certifications, prooving you have a decent level on SolidWorks core functionality.

CSWPCORE - available!
Certified SolidWorks Professional Core
Updated version of the previously known CSWP test, which requires a higher and broader knowledge level in order to pass than the CSWA.

CSWPCDES - available!
CSWP Advanced -
COSMOSWorks Designer Specialist
This gives you the opportunity to proove your competence in COSMOSWorks Designer, the FEM analysis software provided with SolidWorks Office Premium.

CSWPSURF - coming soon!
CSWP Advanced - Surface Specialist
SolidWorks has the latest years focused on surface and fri form modelling, and this test will be specially designed to proove your capabilites in this area.

CSWPSMTL - coming soon!
CSWP Advanced - Sheet Metal Specialist
Sheet metal modeling was previously one of the selective areas of the CSWP exam, but has now been extracted into a separate and broader test.

CSWPCMOT - coming soon!
CSWPAdvanced - COSMOSMotion Specialist
COSMOSMotion is SolidWorks' software for kinematic analysis, and is part of the SolidWorks Office Premium bundle. This test allows you to certify your knowledge on this software.
