Agenda - SolidWorks World 2009

The agenda for next year's conference has not been defined yet. Instead we bring you some samples from the last time:

Speeding Product Innovation and Customization

Discover the "ins and outs" of how to handle large assemblies with SolidWorks 2008. Attendees will get tips and tricks on how to leverage the software to minimize the wait times encountered during modeling, drawing, rebuilding, and saving.

PhotoWorks 2008: Photo Finish

Transform a SolidWorks model into a near-photographic image with the photorealistic rendering add-in PhotoWorks. Attendees walk through the rendering creation basics, methods, and tips and tricks to give images a photo finish. Question-and-answer time follows for topics not covered.

Machining Features: Methods for Standardized Geometry

Explore secure geometry by using Library Features to Indent/Combine. Attendees gain an understanding of why secure geometry has unique needs, as well as how to preserve the design for reuse using four basic methods, from the least to the most secure.

Modeling Mechanisms in COSMOSMotion 2008

Develop the skills to create animations and realistic motion simulations in this hands-on session. Attendees explore motion simulation and real-time physics in COSMOSMotion 2008, simulating real-world physics with a simple timeline approach.

Introduction to Boundary, FreeForm and Fill Features

This session is for SolidWorks users that are beset by the challenges of creating functional and aesthetically pleasing commercial and consumer product designs. When extrude and revolve just won’t cut it, alternative shape control features need to be employed. We will dig deep into each of these three features to share with you how to get the most out of them and help you succeed in your workplace.

YOU GOT A NICE TOPIC?
